As the year was ending, at Upendo Children Home Uganda we were filled with joy, smiles, and celebration. It was the time for our graduation at Upendo Pre-Primary School and this was a very special day for our children, teachers, and leaders.

This was not just a ceremony. It was a day of hope, growth, and new beginnings.
8 Bright Stars Graduated
We are proud to share that 3 girls and 5 boys graduated from nursery to primary level. These young learners have worked very hard throughout the year and the graduation is the testimony of their hard work.

Seeing them dressed for graduation, smiling with confidence, this made everyone emotional and we were all proud of them.
We believe they are now ready for the next step in their education journey! A lot of activities took place on the graduation day and some of the activities are as follow.
Powerful Speeches from the Children
One of the most beautiful parts of the graduation day was when the children gave their speeches.

Yes — our little ones stood in front of everyone and spoke with confidence, parents were around and the community witnessed all what was going on and the all amazed by the level their children had attained!
This came as they shared how Upendo Pre-Primary School helped shape them for the best. Many talked about how their English had greatly improved. They spoke clearly, boldly, and with joy. It was clear that the school is building strong foundations in their lives for the better.
Songs, Joy, and Celebration
Another interesting activity which was heart warming, the children also sang beautiful songs that touched the hearts of everyone present. Their voices were full of happiness not mention the dances.

Parents, teachers, and guests clapped and cheered. The atmosphere was full of love and celebration.
It was truly a day to remember.
Words of Encouragement from Our Leaders

The Director, Pastor Patrick Wandui, gave an inspiring speech. He encouraged the staff to continue doing the great work of teaching and caring for the children.

Also the Country Director, Pastor Richard Abaliwano, appreciated the teachers and reminded everyone that educating a child is planting a seed for the future.
Their words gave hope and strength to the whole team.
A Message from the Headmaster

The Headmaster also shared words of encouragement. He urged the staff and children to continue cooperating with one another.
He reminded everyone that teamwork, discipline, and love are the keys to success.
