VISION

In our project area, number of Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street Children and vulnerable women are found. The problem of orphan/street children and vulnerable women is due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the deaths of HIV/AIDS affected persons, Re-marriage of deserted/widowed/ divorced women, absence of love and security in the families, Family disputes, Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking / Sexually exploited girls; these orphaned children and vulnerable women are left without care and support. These children are involved in rag picking; pickpocketing and participating in anti-social, criminal activities. Therefore, we envisage mainstreaming these children in the national building by providing care, support, and protection in our ministry.
Upendo has other activities which are empowering women and widows, girl child education, elderly groups, poison ministry, school outreaches, hospital ministry; feed the hungry and the youth in the communities. Through our activities we work at grass root level to reach out and support victims of GBV, rehabilitate and address community health challenges by creating awareness rising.
Mainstreaming the Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street children in the national building by providing care, support & protection through shelter, food, and education is our mission
